『Yellow Pills_vol1』収録曲の中でも特筆すべき1曲は「Speed Kills」。そのアダムシュミットの1st。ちょっと音の作りがチープですが素晴らしく良い曲が揃ってます。#②,③,⑩,12は是非とも聴いてもらいたい佳曲。特に#3は90sパワーポップ・クラシックと言えますね。#1,4,⑦,⑨,11では彼の1側面である80sH/R気質が顔を覗かせるけどそれも絶妙な按配だしメロディは良いので違和感ないです。#9なんかはパワポ＃と言って良いし。ロックなアダムの声はこの手の曲にはバッチリ合うな。#5,⑥,8のミドル～スロー＃も80s的でメロディ前面なアレンジで聞かせます。ジェイ・ベネットも参加。 |  |
