 Hobby : Taking photos and retouching photos.

: Growing vegetables in my farm. I eat fresh vegetable grown by myself every

 Sport : Marathon. I jog 2 or 4 km every day, and some times participate local
 marathon races
: Skiing and trekking, but not so often lately.
 English : I took up English when I was 40th. I am not so good at speaking yet.
 A native said that I do not make big mistakes in my writing. and the other
 said no one expects you write perfect English.

My career in photograph
  • I took up my photograph when I was teens using my father's accordion fold type camera.
    Since then, I have taken tons of photos. But I missed films taken before 1979 when I moved.

  • In 1993 or 1994, I got an email with an attaching file from overseas. At that time, I did no have a concept of attaching file. So, I tried to decode that puzzling email. I finally got a software called UUDEVIEW and could see a tiny picture. It was the first time handling digital photo.

  • In 1995，I bought a hand scanner to digitize my photos, soon replaced a flat bed scanner. But I was soon realized the ceiling of that and bought a film scanner in 1996.
    My first film scanner, it was very expensive for my allowance then, had already ten mega pixels resolution, but a poor performance in color especially scanning for negative film. So, retouching was indispensable to get good colored photos. But it was very difficult to adjust color balance. I have struggled with it for years and gradually learned how to retouch.

  • In 2000, I bought my first digicam Kodak DC-280Z and got Kodak DC-4800 in 2001.

  • June 22 2002, I got Nikon D100
  • March 18 2004 got Nikon D70
