白いリボン ２００３年３月１日　島岡光一 ２００１年９月１１日に、アメリカ貿易センタービルを標的に「同時多発テロ」が勃発して多くの市民が犠牲になりました。同年１０月７日に、米英両国は、このテロの首謀者をウサマ・ビン・ラディンであり、それをかくまっているのはアフガニスタンを実効支配しているアルカイーダであると断定して、空爆を開始しました。 たまたま、その前日、東京東村山の市民有志が迫り来るアフガニスタン戦争に反対するためにピース・ウォークとピース・トークを計画しました。なにしろ警察官が２０名、パトカーが２台出て我々市民を厳重に保護してくれるというのですから、その労に報いるためには、せめて２０名ぐらいは来てくれないと税金の無駄遣いになると心配しました。 有志たちは、参加者に着けてもらおうと、２００個の白いリボンを用意しました。 ウォークが始まる頃には、どんどん人数が増え、ギターや蛇みせん、太鼓などを持参する人が、やってきて、歩き始めると通行人の飛び入りも増えて、２キロの道のりを歩くうちに２００名にふくれあがりました。 この写真のキャップの白いリボンはそのときのものです。１年半の風雪で薄汚れていますが、再びこれを着用しようとは思いもよりませんでした。 ｐｓ　バッチはワールド・ピース・ナウ日本からいただいた人からいただきました。 参考サイト http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kei/ko/ribon.htm

WHITE RIBON Koichi SHIMAOKA　１ｓｔ　March '03 "Simultaneous frequent occurrence terrorism" broke the U.S. trade center building out to the target, and many citizens fell victim on September 11, 2001. The U.S. and Britain concluded that Osama bin Laden was this terrorism's mastermind,and that ARUKAIDA which was carrying out effective rule of Afghanistan hade been sheltering it. The air strikes were started on October 7. In order to be opposed to the Afghanistan War by which the citizen volunteers of Tokyo Higashi-Murayama were coming together by chance on the previous day, and the peace walk and the peace talk were planned. Since the police authority said anyway that 20 policemen and two police cars was supposed to come out severely to take care of us the citizens. In order to reward the trouble, when if more than 20 people did not come, we worried at least that it might have become a waste of taxpayers' money. Preparation was carried out till then so that volunteers would have the participants wear 200 pieces of white ribbons for the participants. When the Walk started, the number increased rapidly, and when those who brought guitars, the drums and JAMISEN with them came and began to walk, while the adventitious people of passerbys increased and walked along 2km distance, we swelled and went up to 200 persons. The white ribbon of the cap of this photograph is a thing at that time. Although it was slightly soiled with the snowstorm of one year and a half, a thought did not become precocious more, either, to wear this again. ps.
