Welcome to The Yodel Snow School

The Akakura Ski Fields are one of Japan's oldest resorts, established in deep snow country on Japan's west coast.
The Yodel Snow School was established in 1960, and we have been introducing the pleasures and joy of snow sports in a magnificent natural setting for half a century now. We of course offer professional training in the techniques of skiing and snowboarding, and as well we can introduce and share with you powder and back-country skiing and boarding. We also offer snow-shoe tours, where you can experience the profound quietness and majesty of the mountains, away from the ski runs.
Our highly qualified professional instructors will guide you around the many and varied ski runs, and help you develop your skills and to increase your enjoyment.
