[M+T]-タイプのゲノムのみで構成される核型をもつ 　　　　　　不稔性または半不稔性分類群

Sterile or semisterile taxa with [M+T]-type genomes

１）　ショウキラン：サイトレースー３　　L. traubii Hayward: Cytorace-3　　２ｎ＝１３＝９M＋４T

　外部形態的には琉球列島の２ｎ＝１４＝８M＋６Tの分類群と九州に分布する２ｎ＝１２＝１０M＋２Tの分類群の中間的存在。開花・出葉期は有性生殖する分類群（サイトレース−１、２）と同じ。九州南部に多く分布する。花粉の一部は稔性があり、人為的に受粉をさせると結実することもあるが、放置すれば不稔である。上野等（１９９４）はキツネノカミソリとの雑種を得ている。

1) 　L. traubii Hayward: Cytorace-3　　　　2n=13=9M+4T

　　 The gross morphology of this cytorace is somewhat intermediate between the cytorace-1 (2n=12=10M+2T) and cytorace-2 (2n=14=8M+6T). Phenology: same as cytorace-1 and cytorace-2. Materials were collected in Kagoshima Pref.. Sterile in nature, but produce a few viable pollens. Ueno et al. (1994) obtained some hybrid plants between this and L. sanguinea.


２）　　アウレア ：　サイトレースー３　　L. aurea (L'Her.) Herb 　　　　２ｎ＝１５＝７M＋８T

　　アウレアの名で括られている中国に固有の黄色花（Hsu, et al., 1994)のリコリスの実体は複雑で、核型と外部形態から少なくとも３つの分類群が認識できる。その一つが、この不稔性の分類群である。写真の個体は香港産である。アウレアは１７７７年にJohn Fothergill がキュウ植物園に中国からもたらしたもので、L'Heritier （1788）がアマリリス・アウレアとして報告し、Herbert (1819)がリコリス・アウレアとして記載したものである。L'Heritier による図版の植物は、上向きに咲き、花糸・花柱が突出し、総苞が長く、花茎と同時に葉が伸展しているなど、まさにこの香港産の分類群と一致する。すなわち、この不稔性の分類群こそ典型的なアウレアである。
　　葉は１０月、花茎とともに現れ、５月に枯れる。葉の長さは５０-６０cm、幅１７-３２mm、葉裏は白粉を帯び先端は鋭くとがり、中肋上面は白緑色。開花は１０月。花茎は高さ〜５３cm、総苞は長く８０-９０mm、小花柄は７-１０mm。花筒部は８-１０mm、花被片は長さ８０-８４mm、幅は１２-１４mm、花糸は８０-９５mm、花柱は１２０mm、先端は紅色。

2) 　L.. aurea (L'Herit.) Herb 　　　　2n=15=7M+8T

　L. aurea sensu Hsu et al. (1994) is very polymorphic species, but it can be classified into 3 taxa based on karyotypes and gross morphology. Two fertile taxa, 2n=16=6M+10T with large graucous leaves and 2n=14= 8M+6T with the leaves of purplish midrib, and this sterile taxon from Hong Kong. L'Heritier (1788) described a new species, Amaryllis aurea, for a plant from China and Herbert (1819) proposed a new generic name, Lycoris, for this plant. Morphology of flowers and leaves of the sterile taxon from Hong Kong well accord with the original description and figures of L. aurea.
　　Leaves apearing in October with scapes, 50-60 cm long, to 17-32 mm wide, herbaceous, reverse side glaucous, apex acute. Scape up to 53 cm long. Spathe-valves linear-lanceolate, 80-90 mm long. Pedicels 7-10 mm long. Tepaltube 8-10 mm long. Tepals 80-84 mm long, 12-14 mm wide. Stamens 80-95 mm long, with yellowish anther. Style, up to 120mm, apex reddish.


３）　キネンシスとロンギトゥーバの雑種と思われる分類群

　　江蘇省句容県湯山のロンギトゥバ群落で採集したものの中に含まれていた。花の形質はロンギトゥバとキネンシスの中間で、栄養器官はロンギトゥバに近い。人為的に受粉させると種子が出来るが、放置すればほぼ不稔である。核型は2n＝１６＝６M+１０T。核型、形態からみて上記の稔性の高い2種の間の雑種であろう。南京中山植物園には推定両親種が植栽されているが、ここでもよく似た個体を見た。育種家の横山暁がロンギトゥバとして輸入した球根の中にも同様の個体が含まれていた。
3) Putative hybrid plants originated in the hybridization between L. longituba and L. chinensis.

　　　In a population of L. longituba at Tanshan, Gourongxian, Jangsu, some plants supposed to be the hybrids between L. longituba and L. chinensis are found. The character of flowers of these plants is intermediate between parents supposed. A few seeds obtained when pollinated by hand, but it seems to be sterile in nature. The karyotype, 2n=16=6M+10T, is not inconsistent with the supposition. Similar plants were found in Chunsan Botanical Gardens, Nanjing, where the parents species were cultivated. In the bulbs of L. longituba imported by Yokoyama, a Japanese breeder, similar plants were included.
