Horrible facts; daily events of suicides

The railway systems in the region of Tokyo, capital of Japan are often disrupted by ghumanh accidents. Is it not abnormal that more than 30,000 people have died of suicides annually for more than ten years?

Differences in suicides in the previous ages and today

It seems to me the suicides in the previous ages were caused by entanglement of the people in the social relations and those of today by lack of social relations. Harakiri of Samurai, the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet were caused by the overwhelming pressure of the social relations. On the other hand many suicides of today are caused by lack of social relations; no friends in need, no help in diseases, excessive loans and finally deep despair in total isolation.

Excessive Social Constraint and total isolation are common

in the lack of normal human relations, which should be based on respect of individual characters. If one avoids social activities disliking any external interferences, then he will naturally fall into social isolation.

Sources of Unhappiness

Lack of respect to individual characters will bring about disrespect of otherfs rights or loss of self-respect. Such a person may end up to be a pessimist or egoist losing friends or active mind and falls into isolation, depression and despair.

Sources of happiness

Respect of individual characters means respect of differences in individualities. Based on this viewpoint we can probably live in harmony regardless of any differences of views and opinions among ourselves. Respect of differences of opinions is a prerequisite for reaching agreement, the basic parts of which form the laws and morals of the societies. Profession is to offer products for the individuals. It is the self-respect that supports you in any adversities preventing you from falling into despair and helping you maintain the will to progress.
