Atrocities in Gaza

Were witnessed by the whole world for the past three weeks through the mass media. More than one thousand people were killed and five thousand people wounded and their properties were destroyed. The fear and hatred caused among the residents in Gaza is even deeper and makes the lasting peace in Palestine even more difficult.

Why Adolf Hitler and Nazis party gained power in Germany

Is now somehow understandable to me. The Jewish people discriminated and persecuted all over Europe through the history must have had some reasons for their plights. The remarkable feature of the Jewish people is the timeless continuation of their unique religion and life style over thousands of years. The only surviving ancient civilization is said to be the Chinese civilization but we can add to it the Jewish and probably gypsy civilizations. All other civilizations have disappeared through the history. The ancient Egyptians, Hittites, Assyrians, Shmers, Mesopotamians, Greeks, Romans and other great people who created the great civilizations are not the same as the people living in those areas today. Germany is called Germany in English, Allemania in Spanish, Nemets in Russian and Deutch by German people themselves. All those different names show the history of Germany. The German people today are descendant of various tribes who have mingled, melted and formed the German people today. The USA is called the melting pot of races. The Japanese Americans show the process quite clearly. Issei, the first generation can not speak English so well, Nissei, the second generation can speak both English and Japanese, Sansei, the third generation can speak only English. Within a century the immigrants to the USA usually fully settle down there and lose contact with their relatives in their old home lands. Such individualism is the nature of human beings. Compared with other people the Jewish people retain their distinct characteristics for thousand of years. The uniqueness of the Jewish people has caused suspicion and fear among other people. The fear was manipulated by the genius propagandist Adolf Hitler and his Nazis party. Hitler discloses his method quite clearly; for the general mass short and easily understood messages must be appealed again and again. It does not matter whether it is true or not. After infinite repetitions a bare lie turns to be an unquestionable truth. What a truth indeed! The lie deceived the people of Germany and the Jewish problem was utilized by Nazi for its war propaganda that resulted in the Second World War and the “final solution of the Jewish problem” accomplished in the extermination camps in Auschwitz and other places. Watching the atrocities in Gaza on my TV, I suspected the Jews might be intending the “final solution of the Palestanian problem.”

Are not Jews and USA repeating the same historical errors?

The USA and Israel have acted together since the foundation of Israel in 1948. Those two states share very similar characteristics. That is the ethnic cleansing. When Israel was founded in 1948, the Palestine was not a barren land. It had been home land for the Palestanian people for thousands of years. Do the Jews have the right to build their state there because ancient Israel existed there? Not quite. The chapter Exodus in the Old Testament tells that when the Jewish tribe led by Moses migrated through the deserts to the “promised land of Canaan”, they found the land had been inhabited by the Philistia people. The Jewish army had to attack the Philistin villages and towns one by one brutally “even cats and dogs that moved were killed”. The USA repeated the similar history against the indigenous people in the Great Plains to rob them of their lands. The only good Indians are dead Indians. This American proverb tells the heartless imperialistic nature of USA which took land from not only the native Americans but also Spain an, Mexico and Hawaii by force. The belief and reliance in the military force and Imperialism and the selfish and oversimplified world view are common to both USA and Israel. No one would disagree with “war against terrorism”, or “protection of Israeli people from Hamas rocket attacks.” Such over simplified messages misled the public opinion. There are other sides of the truth which is the state terrorism. Israel imposes economic blockade to the people of Gaza, which is nothing less than a war. The economic blockade robs the Gaza people of any chances of their industrial development, which is the very cause of the lasting conflicts.

Solutions for the lasting peace in Israel and Palestine

The 21 century has made the Imperialism obsolete. That is, the military power is losing its effectiveness. Why? The TV broadcasting, mobile communications and the Internet have made the world so small that no grave breach of humanity can be concealed from the world. The state is still a power structure where the mass media is manipulated by the rulers of the states to maintain their power but the mass immedia such as the Internet and mobile communication networks have made the total control of the information network very difficult. In a sense the Israeli people are victims of their own governments as the Gaza attacks were apparently started as an election campaign, the same tactics repeatedly utilized by the politicians. Remember the Bush administration was supported by 80% of the USA people right after invasion into Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi people were killed and millions fled and became refugees and their properties were destroyed. The size of the harm caused by the state terrorism is really beyond appraisal.

Here are my proposals for the lasting pace in Israel and Middle East

(1) Israel should return all the land which it occupied in 1967 war.

(2) Compensate for the Palestanian people who fled their land at the foundation of Israel in 1948 and subsequent Arab-Israeli wars.

(3) Guarantee the freedom and equal rights of Palestanian people and help creation and development of the Palestanian state.

If above three conditions are met, then the lasting peace will come to the Middle East. The USA developed on the sacrifice of the American Indians because it could conceal the truth in the 19th century. The Israelis can never conceal the ethnic cleansing in the 21th century. Only the compensation for the Panestine refugees will cleanse Israel of its Imperialism. Israel alone cannot prosper in Plestine in peace so long as the current oppression of the Palestanian people continues. Both Israelis and Palestanian people must prosper for the lasting peace to be established there. Remember Israel has established lasting peace with Egypt because she returned all the land she had occupied in the 1967 war. Do not believe the state propaganda only but promote direct talks among the peoples of all sides. You have enough means to promote direct talks today, Direct Satellite Broadcasting, mobile communications and the Internet. Pen is mightier than sword. Isn’t the voice more direct than the Pen?
