A bright fireball flighted from Nara prefecture to northern Wakayama prefecture at 23 Dec.2019 12h46m22s(UT).
This fireball was captured by SonotaCo network observers Mr.SonotaCo(Tokyo pref.), Mr.T.Sato(Kochi pref.), Mr. Y.Fujiwara(Nara pref.), and Y.Shiba(Hyogo pref.).
The burst luminous trail was estimated as the continuous fragmentation phenomenon.
The initial velocity was 22.1 km/s which was high speed for a meteoritic fireball however, the luminous ending height was low at 28.5 km altitude.
Terminal landing mass was estimated only 5-25 grams which is 1-2 cm in diameter.
The predicted impact area was at Kimi pass, Hashimoto city, Wakayama prefecture where includes residential areas near the "Kimi pass" station.
Therefore we expect someone to find the small meteorite.
Predicted meteorite fell area
Ellipse is predicted as the meteorite impact zone.
